Description of sport: Design, build, code, troubleshoot, and operate a robot for this year's unique game. Imagine robots playing sports in a 3 vs 3 match. Matches are 2 minutes and 30 seconds and generally involve many balls, robots playing defense and climbing off the ground.

Season commitment: Training Season runs end of September through Winter break Build and Competition Season run January through end of April

Meetings: 2 weeknights and 1 weekend day 2-4 Competitions that are 3 days each

Eligibility requirements: 9-12th graders at Hopkins Public Schools

Tryouts/Cuts: No

Costs and/or needed equipment: $230 activity fee + partial travel expenses

Hopkins Robotics inspires iterative growth in students’ STEM, business, and communication skills through collaborative activities and competitive robotics.
